S-Turn on the RIo Alseseca in Tlapacoyan, Mexico.

The first thing that came to my mind when I approached this rapid was, "I guess we're portaging." But then shortly after watching the all mighty Tom Mcewan fire it up, I was in my boat dropping over the 20 footer heading straight for a rock wall. As soon as I landed in the pillow formed from the wall, my boat made an instant 90 degree right turn pushing me towards the next rock wall. Almost instantly there after I was turned straight again heading down the 50 foot long, paddle width chute towards a pool. After running the class V+ S-Turn rapid, I felt very humbled and amazed what we are able to do in a boat. Before seeing some one run the rapid, it looked nearly impossible.
